What are we cooking today?
Tartar Sauce makes every seafood taste just that little bit better. And, home made Tartar is so simple to make yet just so much better than store bought.
Getting started
- In a small bowl, with a small spatula, mix the yogurt with the mustard, salt, pepper, dill and cayenne if using.
Fold in the pickles and capers.
Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes, to allow flavours to meld.
Give it another stir before serving.
Annabelle's tips
Homemade Tartar Sauce keeps well, though not as long as a commercial sauce. You can keep it in the fridge, in an airtight container, for up to 7 days. Just make sure you give it another stir before serving.
