Ingredients
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ½ tbsp herb mix seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp Pure Hydrolyzed Collagen (optional)
- 1 tsp Prebiotic Acacia Fibre (optional)
Directions
What are we cooking today?
Seed crackers are very fashionable on cheeseboards at the moment and who would have thought they're so easy to make? And, the addition of guacamole is a match made in heaven.
Getting started
- Pre-heat the oven to 175C.
Mix all the seeds together with water and seasonings.
Add the Collagen and/or Fibre (optional).Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the seed mixture evenly until flat.
Bake for 30 minutes then remove from the oven, cut them into squares, flip them and bake for another 15 minutes.
While the crackers are baking combine all the guacamole ingredients in a bowl and mash until you have a smooth consistency.
Annabelle's tip
For a touch of colour and flavour, I often add fresh cherry tomatoes sliced into quarters with a sprinkling of black pepper.
