Ingredients
- 12 medium sardines
- 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt or sea salt
- Ground black pepper (to taste)
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tbsp freshly chopped mint
- 4 tbsp fresh basil or 4 tsp dried basil

So flavoursome and so now! Sardines are packed with goodness and super easy to prepare.
Getting started
- Preheat the oven to 175℃.
Clean the sardines thoroughly, making sure to remove the gills and insides. Rinse under running water to wash off scales and remaining blood.
Note: You can also ask your local fishmonger to do the cleaning for you.Place the sardines on a rack and season with salt and pepper.
Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
Wash and chop the herbs.
Pile the hot sardines onto a serving plate, sprinkle with chopped herbs and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Serve immediately!
