What are we cooking today?
These delicious chicken wings can be a meal or as great party food.
Getting started
- In a bowl, mix the garlic, ginger, chilli, soy sauce, and honey.
Add the wings and coat them well with the marinade.
Cover the bowl with cling wrap and marinate for 4-6 hours.
Pre heat the oven to 150°C, Line a baking try with non stick paper and lay the wings out individually. Add the chicken wings and cook for about an hour.
when the chicken has softened, turn the oven up to 200°C, for about 10 minutes, to colour and crisp the skin.
When cooked, strain off any left over marinade and reduce in a saucepan until thick and sticky.
Cover the wings in the sauce. Add the sesame seeds and serve while hot.
Annabelle's tips
- I've chosen wings for this recipe but drumsticks or sliced breasts work just as well, you will just need to adjust the cooking time.
Replace soy sauce with Tamari to make this gluten free.
