Chicken and Bacon Lasagne

Ingredients

3 chicken breast pre-cooked and shredded
-
2 rashers of bacon cooked and cut into small pieces
-
150 g cheddar cheese grated and divided in half (2 x 75g quantities)
- ⅓ tbsp chives
-
400 ml white sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

1 packet lasagna sheets or fresh

200 g parmasan cheese
Directions
What are we cooking today?
Chicken and bacon are a match made in heaven and this recipe combines them beautifully.
Getting started
Preheat oven to 190C.
White sauce
To your white sauce, add; the salt and pepper, garlic powder, parsley, and 75g cheddar and whisk until combined.
Process
- In a open proof dish, sprinkle 1/3 of the shredded chicken and bacon evenly.
Sprinkle with 1/3 of the remaining cheddar cheese and chives.
Pour 1/4 of the white sauce mix.
Cover with a layer of lasagne sheets.
Repeat the process twice more.
Top the final layer of lasagne sheets with the remaining white sauce and sprinkle with the parmesan.
Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
Sprinkle with parsley and slice and serve piping hot.
