A staple recipe of Mediterranean cuisine. Enjoy with crispy vegetables such as peppers and celery stalks.

 2 ⅔ cups plain full-fat yogurt
 2 medium cucumbers
 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
 1 juice from 1 lemon
 4 tbsp fresh dill
 2 tsp lemon zest
 1 pinch pink Himalayan saltor sea salt
 ground black pepper

Tzatziki is a classic Greek appetiser (or “meze”) made from thick yogurt, cucumber, garlic, olive oil, and fresh dill.

It’s super simple to make and a hit at any get-together!

Getting started

Wash the cucumber, lemon, and peel and crush the garlic.

Grate the cucumber leaving the skin on.

Add the cucumber to a bowl with yogurt and crushed garlic.

Pour in olive oil and lemon juice and mix well.

Add lemon peel, freshly chopped dill, black pepper and a pinch of salt. Mix everything together.

Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to a few days.
