Chocolate Banana Ice-Cream tastes EXACTLY like chocolate ice cream and is made with only 3 ingredients and they're all healthy.

What are we making today?

No cream, no sugar and therefore, no guilt. This ice-cream is truly delicious and as good as anything you can buy at an ice-cream shop.

Getting started

Peel the bananas and cut them into small pieces.

Freeze them for 1 or 2 hours on a plate lined with baking paper. This process makes it easier in the food processor which can struggle with large chunks of frozen banana.

Put the frozen bananas into a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth.

When the mixture is smooth, add the cocoa powder and blend until incorporated.

For a soft ice cream, serve immediately.

For a firm chocolate banana ice-cream, transfer it back to the freezer for at least an hour.

For added texture, add roughly grated dark chocolate, either to the mixture or on top after served.
