Glazed Chicken Wings

This glazed chicken is an absolute crowd pleaser every time.

 12 chicken drumsticks
 6 garlic clovescrushed
 25 g gingercrushed
 1 red chillifinely chopped
 3 tbsp honey
 100 ml soy sauce
 2 tbsp coconut oil
 1 tbsp sesame seeds
 handful of fresh parsley to garnish
What are we cooking today?

These delicious chicken wings can be a meal or a great party food.

Getting started

In a bowl, mix the garlic, ginger, chilli, soy sauce, and honey.

Add the drumsticks and coat them well with the marinade.

Cover the bowl with cling wrap and marinate for 4-6 hours.

Heat the oil in a pan.

Add the chicken drumsticks and cook until cooked.

Remove the chicken from the pan.

Add the left over marinade to the hot pan with 1/2 cup water and bring to the boil.

Return the chicken to the pan and cover in the sauce until the sauce goes sticky and the chicken is coated in the sauce and golden.

Add the sesame seeds and serve while hot.

I've chosen drumsticks for this recipe but wings or even sliced breasts work just as well.
