Broccoli and hummus go so well together. This roasted dish is an excellent side dish.

 2 cups broccolichopped
 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
 ¼ cup hummus
 salt and pepper

Broccoli has long been thought of as a "superfood" as it is so high in many nutrients, including fibre, vitamin C, vitamin K, iron, and potassium. The hummus addition here gives it a delicious Middle-Eastern slant.

Getting started

Heat oven to 200ยบ.


Place the broccoli on a baking sheet and toss in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.


Roast for 25 minutes.


Place roasted broccoli in a bowl and stir in hummus until broccoli is coated.
