Cinnamon Roll Porridge

Cinnamon Roll Porridge tastes and smells as good as it looks. Such a delicious way to start the day.

 1 cup milk
 ½ cup rolled oats
 1 pinch of salt
 ½ tbsp cinnamon
 15 g butter
 15 g cream cheese
 1 tsp milkpossibly 2 tsp)
 21 g honey
 15 g brown sugar
What are we cooking today?

Cinnamon, honey and cream cheese - a wonderful combination that works as a breakfast or dessert.

Getting started

For the porridge, bring the oat milk to the boil in a small saucepan.

Stir in oats and simmer for 1–2 minutes while stirring.

Remove from heat, transfer to a bowl and let soak for about 5 minutes.

In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter, brown sugar and stir in the cinnamon with a small fork until well mixed.

In a second bowl, put the cream cheese in the microwave for 3-5 seconds so that it just starts to soften.

Stir into the cream cheese, a teaspoon of milk and honey and then adjust the consistency with possibly a little more milk.

Pour a little of both sauces over the finished oats or stir in as desired.

A fresh, diced apple or any other fruit can also be added.

Delicious with sliced strawberries or any other fruit on top.
