Chinese Beef and Broccoli

This recipe forms the base for a classic Chinese dish, and it's great as per the ingredients. However, you can add whatever vegetables you have in the fridge.

 1 kg sirloin steakcut into strips
 1 cup beef stock
 ½ cup soy sauce
 1 tbsp sesame oil
 4 cloves garlicminced
 ¼ cup brown sugar
 1 broccoli headchopped
 ¼ cup corn flour
 cooked rice

This super easy dish is an all time classic.

Getting started

Add the stock, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and sugar to the slow cooker and mix well.

Add the beef, stir, cover and cook on low for 4 hours.

After 4 hours, add the corn flour and broccoli and stir.

Cover and cook on low for another 30 minutes.

Serve immediately with rice.
